Countdown is a TCG (Trading Card Game) centered on some of Japan's brightest stars in the entertainment business: the idols of Johnny's Entertainment, a company that focuses on male talents from young to old-- abilities spanning music, acting and more. The cards represent the many aspects of their careers: magazine shoots, photobooks, dramas, movies, music videos, etc. Joining this TCG will require knowledge of Johnny's Entertainment-- both young and old, as all of the games and contests aim to cater to fans of all JE generations! Countdown was hosted at the awesome typhoon-generation.net on July 30, 2006, and moved to with Cassie to love-jam.net on August 3, 2007!
All players begin with a starter deck: 6 cards and 3 white tickets. 2 of these cards are taken from your choice deck, and will be sent to you ASAP after you send in your form to join. Online TCGs are similar to regular TCGs: you begin with a starter deck & trade with other players to complete a set. There are also games and competitions you can participate in to earn more cards. More cards = more to trade with other players = mastering your favorite sets! Credits go to Calico for coming up with the concept of online TCGs.
